Does Medicare cover acupuncture?
Standard Medicare doesn’t cover Chinese medicine acupuncture. Most private health funds with extras cover do. Check your policy before booking.
Which private health funds do you work with?
Over 40 insurers, including Medibank, BUPA, HCF, NIB, HBF, AHM, Frank, GMHBA, and Teachers Health.
How much will my rebate be?
Typically $20 to $55 per treatment depending on your fund and cover level. Your insurer can give you an exact figure.
How does HICAPS work at Belmont?
Bring your health fund card. We process the claim on the spot — your fund pays their portion, you pay the gap. No forms, no waiting.
What about Geraldton?
We provide an official receipt for you to claim directly via your fund’s app or website. Most funds process within 1 to 3 business days.
Can I pay with Alipay?
Yes — Alipay is accepted at Belmont alongside cards and cash. Geraldton accepts cash and direct deposit.
